The 8039 from Spectrum Control is a DC Block that operates from 10 MHz to 18 GHz. It has a DC voltage rating of up to 200 V, a VSWR of less than 1.35:1, and an insertion loss of less than 0.5 dB. This 50-ohm DC block has a capacitor in series with both the inner and outer conductor which prevents the flow of audio and direct current (DC) frequencies while offering minimum interference to RF signals. It is available in a plastic package that measures 30.5 (L) x 12.7 (Dia.) mm with SMA-male/female connectors and has an operating temperature range from -65°C to +125°C.
The 8039 is ideal for ground loop elimination, signal source modulation leakage suppression, system signal-to-noise ratio improvement, test setup isolation, and other applications where undesired DC or audio current flows in the system.
