The HL8439 from HYPERLABS is a DC Block that operates from 16 kHz to 110 GHz. It has a breakdown voltage of up to 10 V and an insertion loss of less than 2 dB. This DC block has an amplitude match of ±0.1 dB and a phase match of ±4°. It will remove DC bias from the input signal to prevent damage to DC-sensitive devices or equipment. The HL8439 can also be used to improve RF power measurements when a power meter with DC sensitivities is used. It is available in a module that measures 1.410 x 0.377 x 0.377 inches with 1.0 mm connectors. It is ideal for 224 Gbps PAM4 communication systems, optical communication systems, high-speed data systems, interfacing between devices with incompatible DC operating points, and level-shifting applications.
