The 7720A from Kratos is a Solid-State PIN Diode Phase Shifter that operates from 0.7 to 1.85 GHz (main band) and 0.5 to 2 GHz (stretch band). This 10-bit TTL controlled device has an insertion loss of less than 13 dB, VSWR of under 1.75:1, and an accuracy of up to ±15°. It provides a full 360° phase shift range and may also be used for frequency translation applications.
The device integrates an RF vector modulator and a driver circuit, consisting of a 10-bit D/A converter and a voltage buffer. The phase shift can be digitally controlled over the full 360° range in 0.35° discrete steps. It is available in a module with SMA (M, F) connectors.
