The 158030 from Krytar is a Directional Coupler that operates from 0.5 to 8 GHz. It is uniquely designed for system applications where external leveling, precise monitoring, signal mixing or swept transmission and reflection measurements are required. The coupler has a coupling factor of 30 dB (±0.8 dB coupling deviation) with directivity of over 16 dB and an insertion loss of less than 0.8 dB. It can handle 20 W of average power, 3 kW of peak power, and has a VSWR of less than 1.35:1.
The coupler is available in a module that measures 5.25 x 0.53 x 0.72 inches with standard SMA female connectors. It is ideal for many applications including electronic warfare (EW), commercial wireless, SATCOM, radar, signal monitoring and measurement, antenna beamforming, and EMC testing environments.
