The C1-B12xxx-30 from R&D Microwaves is a Low PIM Directional Coupler that operates from 500 to 18000 MHz. It provides 30 dB of coupling with a directivity of 20 dB and has an insertion loss of less than 0.3 dB. The coupler can handle an average power of 400 W, a peak power of up to 3 kW, has a VSWR of less than 1.35:1, and a PIM of -160 dBc.
The C1-B12xxx-30 uses a unique taperline construction with an RFI compression sealing system for temperature insensitive performance and RF leakage control. The low insertion loss, very high power, and low PIM performance are a result of the air dielectric and solid conductors use to develop the coupler. It is available in a module that measures 5.34 x 1.00 x 1.00 inches with SMA-Female/N-type connectors.
