The A15-MH095 from AKON Microwave is an Extended Range Detector Log Video Amplifier (ERDLVA) that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. It has a logging range from -68 to +5 dBm and a tangential signal sensitivity (TSS) of -70 dBm. This ERDLVA has excellent log slope linearity, temperature stability, and fast rise/fall time. It has a log linearity of ±1.2 dB, a log slope of 75 mV/dB, and a rise/fall of less than 100 μs. This amplifier requires a DC supply of ±12 V and consumes less than 550 mA of current.
