The GMDA-S4080-60 from Quantic PMI is a Successive Detection Log Video Amplifier (SDLVA) that operates from 4 to 8 GHz. It has a video log range from -55 dBm to +5 dBm, a tangential signal sensitivity (TSS) of better than -60 dBm, and a video bandwidth of 33 MHz. This SDLVA has a slope of 25 mV/dB, a rise time of less than 30 ns, and a fall time of less than 80 ns. It requires a DC supply from +11.4 to +15.75 V or from -11.4 V to -15.75 V and consumes less than 460 mA of current. This video amplifier has been designed using innovative technology which provides optimum performance and reliability in a compact package. It is available in a module that measures 1.8 x 1 x 0.28 inches and is ideal for high-speed channelized receiver applications.
