The FN-D-KXL1-24133 from ETL Systems is a Flacon K-Band RF Downconverter that converts frequencies from 20.1 – 21.2 GHz to the L-band. This downconverter has been developed for the compact 1U Falcon chassis and has the capacity to fit up to five conversion modules, either agile or block up or down converters, which are field serviceable and replaceable. Resilience is also provided from hot-swap dual redundant power supplies and a field serviceable CPU., and each conversion module is 3 slots wide
The downconverter has a high-resolution touchscreen for local control and monitoring and an RJ45 Ethernet port with an SNMP and web browser interface for remote control and monitoring.
The FN-D-KXL1-24133 is available with a field-replaceable 2+1 redundant configuration (with standby input/output) or 1+1 redundant configuration (with standby input/output). It is ideal for use in teleports and earth stations, satellite operators, government and defence, telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) and high-resilience applications.
