The RFM3102 from Mercury Systems is a Microwave Dual Downconverter with an input frequency from 6 to 18 GHz. It provides a gain of 25 dB and has a noise figure of less than 17 dB. This SOSA-aligned downconverter is compliant with the OpenVPX™ (VITA 65) architecture standards to streamline the design, integration, and testing therefore enabling more trusted and secure systems. It supports the OpenRFM architecture that standardizes and streamlines the design, integration, and testing of RF and digital capabilities within embedded processing subsystems that are compatible with existing computing industry standards.

The RFM3102 is available in a 3U OpenVPX form factor and has an Ethernet control interface. It is ideal for use in advanced electronic warfare (EW) applications with high-performance operations, electronic attacks, ELINT, and beamforming systems. The rugged build of this downconverter is suited for a variety of demanding environments with a broad spectrum of usability supporting greater, more reliable performance in the field.
