The NDC2650I0318N18 from Norden Millimeter is a Frequency Down Converter that converts an input frequency from 26.5-40 GHz to 3.2-16.7 GHz (Band 1) and 40-50 GHz to 7.6-17.6 GHz (Band 2). The down-converter has two RF Input Ports and 1 Output IF port. It bypasses the frequency band from 0.5 to 26.5 GHz with an insertion loss of less than 6 dB. The down converter has a LO frequency of 14.4 GHz and provides a LO drive level from -3 to 0 dBm. It provides an RF/IF gain from 2 to 9 dB, has a noise figure below 18 dB, and image rejection above 60 dBc.

The NDC2650I0318N18 requires a DC supply of 6 V and consumes less than 1.4 A of current (85 mA current consumption in stand-by). The converter is available in a module with SMA-female and 2.4 mm female connectors. It is ideal for commercial, military, and test applications. Custom designs with hermetic cases and various other operating parameters are also available.
