The C10665 from Werlatone is a 4-Port Dual Directional Coupler that operates from 1.5 to 32 MHz. This 40 dB coupler has an insertion loss of under 0.15 dB and directivity of more than 25 dB. It can handle up to 3000 Watts of CW power and has a VSWR of less than 1.10:1.
This 4-port coupler employs two 3-Port uni-directional couplers which are internally connected in tandem to provide measurements of both forward and reverse power. Unlike bi-directional couplers, the directivity of this dual directional coupler is unaffected by the loads on the coupled ports.
The C10665 is available in a module that measures 4 x 2 x 1.5 inches with N-Type female, SMA, and BNC connectors. It is ideal for simultaneously monitoring a system’s forward and reverse power and for reflectometer measurements.
