The DPF 2/55 from Amphenol Procom are Cavity Duplex Filters with passbands from 138 – 156 MHz (Low Band) and 152 – 175 MHz (High Band). They are designed for duplex radio transceivers where the Tx and Rx operate on several channels, i.e., within a certain port bandwidth. These filters can handle an input power of up to 50 W and have an insertion loss of less than 1.6 dB. They have an adjustable Tx-Rx spacing from 4 to 10 MHz and provide an isolation of more than 70 dB from the adjacent band. The filters are available in housings that measure 232 x 130 x 58 mm with N-type/BNC/TNC/UHF/SMA connector options. They use high-Q, temperature-compensated helical resonators to reduce physical dimensions. The housing is made of extruded aluminium, the chassis of passivated steel, and teflon insulation has been applied in the rigid coaxial cables and in the connectors.
