The iMASER 300 from Safran is a Smart Active Hydrogen Maser Clock that uses Ceramic Cavity technology for low thermal sensitivity. It has a phase noise of -132 dBc/Hz @ 1 Hz offset and an allan deviation of 1.5 x 10-15 (1,000s). This clock uses sensitivity in temperature change technology for high stability performance and durable teflon & bulb coating technology to operate over a lifetime of more than 20 years. It uses a new auto cavity SmarTuning feature and has distance control, remote monitoring and self-diagnostic functions. This clock can operate on both AC and DC supply and consumes 100 W of power.
The iMASER 300 can be controlled via an Ethernet interface. It is available in a module that measures 60 x 80 x 91 cm and is ideal for VLBI, SLR, ground space stations, navigation, frequency reference source, timekeeping & precision time scales, GNSS satellite monitoring and geodesy applications.
