ASY-0050-2000

The ASY-0050-2000 from AtlanTecRF is a miniature frequency synthesizer that operates from 0.5 to 20 GHz. The frequency synthesizer has a 1 KHz step size and +/-0.5ppm frequency stability over a temperature range from -10 to +70 degree C. It has a frequency switching time of up to 5 milliseconds. The synthesizer has a phase noise of -85 dBc / Hz at 10 Hz offset in the lower end of its spectrum and -120 dBc / Hz at 10 MHz offset at the higher end of the spectrum. The ASY-0050-2000 requires a supply voltage of +5.0 V DC and draws just 1 amp of current. The synthesizer is available in a 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.1 inch module with SMA female connectors. It requires minimum set-up and can be controlled using an easy to use GUI via a RS485 port. The ASY-0050-2000 can be used for a number of applications in communications, radar and test instrumentation.
