The HFS Series from EM Research are Programmable Frequency Synthesizers that operate from 50 MHz to 12 GHz (In-bands). The synthesizers provide an output power of up to 14 dBm and require an external reference from 5 to 200 MHz. The synthesized signal has a low phase noise with harmonics less than -20 dBc and spurious less than -60 dBc. They require a supply voltage of 3.3/5 Vdc and draw a current of below 200 mA. The synthesizers are available in a ruggedized, modular-mount package that measures 1.25 x 1 x 0.25 inches.
