The MLMS-2080 from Micro Lambda Wireless is a YIG-based Wideband synthesizer module that operates from 2 to 8 GHz with a step resolution of 1 kHz. It provides an output power of 13 dBm with a full band tuning speed from 1 to 3 ms, and phase noise of 117 dBc/Hz @ 100 kHz offset. The device is available in a 2.5 x 2.5 x .65 inches unit and fits a 1 Slot PXI chassis with a 5 Line Serial & USB Control. It is used as the main local oscillator in receiving systems, frequency converters, and test and measurement equipment.
