PSPS-F Series Image

The PSPS-F Series from Polaris are Fixed-Frequency Synthesizers for the frequency range from 3.4 to 13.6 GHz. They use the fractional-N PLL architecture to provide fine frequency resolution with excellent spurious and phase noise performance. These synthesizers deliver an output power from -7 to 2 dBm and have frequency step sizes from 0.001 to 125 MHz. They have a phase noise of -133 dBc/Hz (at 1 MHz offset, 3.4 GHz frequency) and harmonics of -25 dBc. These synthesizers require a DC supply from 5.5 to 6.5 V and consume less than 300 mA of current. They are available in surface-mount packages that measure 26.2 x 26.2 x 4 mm and are suitable for use in VSAT/satellite communication systems, test equipment, microwave transmitters, and receivers, cable TV links (CATV), LMDS, local area networks (LAN) and point-to-point and point-to-multipoint microwave links.
