The 8V97051 is a Wideband RF Synthesizer / PLL from Renesas that is optimized for use as the local oscillator (LO) in Multi-Carrier, Multi-mode FDD & TDD Base Station radio cards. The integrated Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) supports output frequencies from 34.375 to 4400 MHz and maintains excellent phase noise and spurious performance. It has a default Fractional Mode with the option to use it with an Integer mode and requires an external loop filter. The 8V97051 is available in a compact 5 x 5 mm, 32-VFQFN package and is ideal for wireless LAN, test equipment and wireless infrastructure applications. The device can operate over -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range.
