The RFE-2017001 from RFE is a Fast Tuning Miniature RF Synthesizer that operates from 0.1 to 20 GHz. It has a step size from 2.5 to 10 MHz and a tuning speed of less than 50 µsecs. The synthesizer delivers an output power of 9 dBm and has a phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz. It requires a DC supply from 5 to 15 V and draws a current of up to 500 mA. The synthesizer can be controlled serially by the SPI interface with a lock detection feature. The device is available in a module that measures 3 x 3 x 0.7 mm with connectors and is ideal for EW/SIGINT, radar, microwave radio, and instrumentation/test module applications.
