The MODEL 5030 from Valon Technology is a Frequency Synthesizer with a frequency range from 18 to 32 GHz. It delivers an RF output power of up to +18 dBm with a phase noise of -133 dBc/Hz (at 10 MHz offset, 20 GHz frequency). This synthesizer has harmonics of better than -20 dBc and a spurious of less than -60 dBc. It allows frequency increments in 20 Hz (40 Hz for frequency above 30 GHz) and has a frequency lock time of less than 400 μs. This synthesizer requires a DC supply from 5 to 12 V via Ethernet (Power-over-Ethernet) and consumes 8 W of power in normal operation and 500 mW of power in standby mode. It can be controlled via USB, Ethernet, and TTL serial interfaces. This synthesizer is available in a compact housing that measures 3.2 x 4.3 x 0.485 inches with SMK 2.92 (female) RF connectors.
