The 8TR8202 from Berex is a 2.4 GHz ZigBee/Bluetooth Front-End RFIC. It has an integrated power amplifier (PA), SPDT Tx/Rx switches, low-noise amplifier (LNA), harmonic filters, and input/output matching circuitry. This RFIC delivers a saturated output power of 23 dBm on the Tx side and provides a gain of 12 dB with a noise figure of 3 dB on the Rx side. It has been designed for Bluetooth, Zigbee, Thread, ANT/ANT+, and other proprietary ISM band wireless systems in the 2.4 GHz band. This IC requires a DC supply from 2.7 to 3.6 V and consumes less than 250 mA of current which allows it to support battery-powered wireless systems.
The 8TR8202 is available as a die that measures 3.00 x 3.00 x 0.45 mm and is ideal for M2M connectivity, proprietary ISM wireless systems, 802.15.4 Zigbee/Thread, RF4CE, smart home hubs and gateways, consumer electronics, smart appliances, smart lighting, smart metering, drones, toys, media remote controller, Bluetooth low energy (BLE) mesh networks, industrial wireless sensor networks, and IoT applications.
