The WLAN7102C from NXP Semiconductors is a Wi-Fi 6 Front-end IC that operates from 5150 to 5925 MHz. It consists of an integrated power amplifier, logarithmic power detector, low noise receiver amplifier (LNA), single pole double throw (SPDT) switch, coexistence filters for both transmit and receive channels and RF decoupling capacitors for all VCC and control pins. It is matched to 50 Ω and integrates harmonic and out of band filtering which minimizes layout area. This IC requires no external matching components and has DC free input/output ports. It requires a DC supply from 3.2-4.8 V.
The FEM is available in a HWFLGA16 package that measures 2 x 2 mm and is ideal for smartphones, tablets, netbooks, and other portable computing devices, module applications for embedded systems and Wi-Fi 6 support applications.
