The QPF4206 from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) Front-End Module that operates in the 2.4 GHz band from 2412 to 2484 MHz. It consists of a power amplifier (PA), regulator, single pole two throw switch (SP2T), and a bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA). This FEM has an integrated logarithmic power detector which enables power accuracy at lower power levels. In the Rx path, it provides a gain of 15 dB and a rejection of 25 dB at 5 GHz. The module is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3 x 3 mm and requires a DC supply of 5 V. It is ideal for use in access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer premise equipment, and IoT applications.
