The QPF4288A from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 6 Front-End Module (FEM) that operates from 2412 to 2484 MHz. It integrates a 2.4 GHz power amplifier (PA), regulator, SPDT switch, bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA) and coupler into a single device. The module includes die level filtering for 2nd and 3rd harmonics as well as 5 GHz rejection for DBDC operation and feedback is provided by an RF power detector with an RF output from a directional coupler. It provides a Tx gain of 33 dB, an Rx gain of 14 dB and has a noise figure of 1.9 dB.

The QPF4288A operates over a DC supply of 5 V and conserves power consumption while maintaining high linear output power and leading-edge throughput. It is available in a 24-pad laminate package that measures 5 x 3 mm with integrated matching to minimize layout area. The FEM is suitable for use in access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer premise equipment and IoT.
