The QPF4588A from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) Front-end module that operates from 5150 to 5850 MHz. This RoHS compliant module consists of an integrated 5 GHz power amplifier (PA), a single pole two throw switch (SP2T), an RF Power Detector and a bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA). In Tx mode it provides up to 27 dBm of power with a gain of 33 dB. In Rx mode it provides a gain of 14 dB with a noise figure of 2 dB. The FEM requires a 5 V supply. It is available in a laminated package that measures 5 x 3 mm and is ideal for Access Points, Wireless Routers, Residential Gateways, Customer Premise Equipment, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
