The QPF4658 from Qorvo is a 6 GHz Wi-Fi 6/6E (802.11ax) Front-End Module that operates from 5945 to 7125 MHz. It integrates a power amplifier (PA), single pole two throw switch (SP2T), and bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA). This FEM includes a logarithmic voltage detector for application feedback and features die-level filtering for 2nd and 3rd harmonics. In Tx mode, it provides a gain of 31 dB while in Rx mode, it provides a gain of 14.5 dB and a 2.4 GHz band rejection of 25 dB. This FEM requires a DC supply of 5 V and is optimized to conserve power consumption while maintaining the highest linear output power.
The QPF4658 is available in a 24-pad laminated surface-mount package that measures 5 x 3 mm and is ideal for use in access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer premise equipment, and Internet of Things applications.
