The RFX2402E from Skyworks is a fully integrated, single-chip, single-die CMOS RFeIC (RF Front-end Integrated Circuit) designed for use in 802.11b/g/n/ac applications operating at 2.4 GHz. It integrates the PA, LNA, Transmit and Receive switching circuitry, associated matching network, and a harmonic filter all in a single-chip device. This low cost RFeIC provides high sensitivity, high efficiency and low noise. The IC requires a supply voltage from 3 to 4.6 V while consuming less than 350 mA of current. It is ideal for single antenna applications and a building block for MIMO applications. The RFX2402E has a simple low-voltage CMOS control logic, and requires minimal external components for system integration. The PA power detector circuit is also integrated. The RFeIC is available in a 3 mm x 3 mm x 0.55 mm, 16 L-QFN package with Exposed Ground Pad.
