The SKY58258-21 from Skyworks is a Front-End Module that supports LTE and 5G-NR bands. It consists of PA blocks, wide bandwidth filters, a MIPI standard digital control block, a single-ended filter, antenna and Tx-Rx switches, and a low noise amplifier (LNA). This module utilizes an enhanced architecture and meets the spectral linearity requirements of CP-OFDM and DFTS-OFDM modulations with up to 100 MHz bandwidth and up to 273 resource block allocations. It supports continuous bias control via an RFFE interface and MIPI v2.1 compliant 52 MHz RFFE bus. This module includes full Power APT support without DPD and fast SRS hopping timing requirements.
The SKY58258-21 has a full baseband-agnostic design, a UHB S-PAD covering B42, B43, B48, n48, n77, n78 and C-band, a high-performance ET/APT PA core and high-performance LNA cores. It is available in an SMT package that measures 5.0 x 3.0 x 0.7 mm and is ideal for multi-band 4G/5G handset and smartphone applications.
