The SKY65725-81 from Skyworks is a Shielded Front-End Module that operates from 1559 to 1606 MHz. It has an integrated low-noise amplifier (LNA) and pre-filter that is designed for Global Positioning System/Global Navigation Satellite System/Beidou Navigation Satellite System (GPS/GNSS/BDS) receiver applications. The pre-filter provides low in-band insertion loss and integrated notch filtering for exceptional rejection of the cellular, PCS, and WLAN frequency bands. This FEM provides a small signal gain of 16 dB and has a noise figure of less than 2.6 dB. It provides a reverse isolation of 30 dB and an out-of-band rejection of up to 65 dBc. The module requires a DC supply of 1.8 V and consumes 3.5 mA of current.

The SKY65725-81 is available in a surface-mount shielded multi-chip module (MCM) package that measures 1.6 x 1.6 x 0.8 mm and is ideal for GPS/GNSS/BDS radio receivers, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GLONASS), fitness/activity trackers, smartphones, laptop PCs and tablets applications.
