The SKY85791-11 from Skyworks is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) Front-End Module that operates at 5 GHz. It has an integrated single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) transmit/receive (T/R) switch, a low-noise amplifier (LNA) with bypass, a power amplifier (PA), a logarithmic power detector for closed-loop power control, and a directional coupler for digital pre-distortion (DPD). The PA output includes a coupler to allow for digital pre-distortion (DPD) in applications. It provides a Tx gain of 32 dB and an Rx gain of 16 dB. The module is available in a 16-pin QFN package that measures 3 x 3 mm and is ideal for wireless routers, access points, HD TV home gateways, Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), mesh/whole-home Wi-Fi systems, wireless audio/video, and Wi-Fi-based home entertainment systems applications.
