The CEX Series from Smiths Interconnect are High-frequency Chip Equalizers that operate from DC to 40 GHz. These equalizers have a slope compensation range of 1 to 4 dB, slope linearity at ±0.25 dB, a VSWR of 1.5:1, and a low insertion loss of less than 1.25 dB. The equalizers can handle an input power of up to 0.25W.
Various configuration options, including different frequency bands, slope direction, and slope magnitude are available to support multiple markets and applications. These chip equalizers are manufactured using robust thick and thin film process technology. They are also lead free, RoHS compliant and are available in tape and reel packaging for high volume pick and place applications. The CEX series equalizers are also suitable for amplifier circuits, transmit/receive modules, up/down converters, instrumentation, radar, and broadcast applications.
