WM8PD-GPS-ACT-S Image

The WM8PD-GPS-ACT-S from Werbel Microwave is an 8-Way GPS Splitter that operates from 950 to 2150 MHz. It provides a gain of more than 3 dB with a flatness of ±0.5 dB and provides an isolation of more than 30 dB. This splitter can handle an input power of up to -5 dBm with a return loss of 22 dB. The splitter allows a GPS signal from an active GPS antenna located on the roof to be split evenly among eight GPS receivers. It passes +5VDC to the antenna connected at the RF IN port by way of an internal bias tee network. All outputs are DC blocked with 200Ω DC load to simulate an antenna DC current draw for any receiver connected.

The WM8PD-GPS-ACT-S has two power supply options: a 120VAC wall adapter (included) for benchtop use or a direct +5VDC feedthrough connection for permanent installations. This RoHS-compliant power divider is housed in an aluminium enclosure measuring 7.75 x 3.98 x 0.75 inches and has SMA (female) connectors.
