The 2J6901BC2F from 2J Antennas is a GNSS Active Antenna that supports GPS/ GLONASS/ BeiDou/ QZSS/ Galileo/ RTK services while operating from 1561 to 1606 MHz in the L1 band and at 1227.6 MHz in the L2 band. This high precision, low profile external antenna is designed for demanding GPS applications that require centimeter-level accuracy by combining Precise Point Positioning (PPP) of L1 and L2 with Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) satellite navigation. The antenna delivers an active gain of 28 dB with a noise figure of less than 1.6 dB and requires a supply voltage of 2.3 to 6 V. The antenna provides a passive peak gain of up to 5.3 dBi with an axial ratio of up to 3 dB and an out-of-band rejection of 40 dB.
Used for both receiving and transmitting applications, this active antenna is ideal for external environments where longer remote cable runs are required. This antenna is ideal for land and hydrographic survey applications because it uses real-time error corrections while simultaneously maintaining centimeter precise position data throughput when passing through solid objects or high coverage landscapes. Other applications where this can be used include Land Survey, Hydrographic Survey, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Navigation, Autonomous Vehicles and Civil Aviation boosting the receiver signal.
The 2J6901BC2F is enclosed in a waterproof and dust resistant ASA UV-stable housing that measures 80 x 74 x 25.6 mm protecting the antenna in the most extreme environmental conditions. The anti-rotation screw mount and ground plane independence allow this external antenna to be installed securely on a wide range of surfaces without restrictions. It is available with a standard SMA-Male connector and a 300 cm long LL100 cable (custom options available). The IP67, IP69-rated RoHS-compliant antenna is ground plane independent and comes with a pre-filter GNSS.
