The TW5390 from Tallysman Wireless is an L1/L2-Band GNSS Antenna that provides an accuracy of better than 10 cm. It supports concurrent tracking of GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, and GLONASS constellations and is unaffected by ionospheric errors. This antenna has an integrated inertial measurement unit (untethered dead reckoning) and L-Band corrections receiver for stand-alone RTK for precise point positioning. It includes multi-stage filtering with low noise figure LNAs, which combined with the Accutenna™ dual feed, greatly improves the rejection of multi-path signal interference. The IMU Sensor Fusion mitigates the effects of severe multi-path reflections and provides continuous position availability during periods of GNSS outages.
The TW5390 features a u-blox F9 engine and supports up to 184 channels. It has a cold start acquisition time of 25 seconds, an aided start acquisition time of 3 seconds, and a reacquisition time of 2 seconds. This antenna has a tracking and navigation sensitivity of -166 dBm, reacquisition sensitivity of -160 dBm, hot start sensitivity of -158 dBm, and cold start sensitivity of -147 dBm. It requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 1 W of power.
The TW5390 is available in a rugged IP69K-rated housing that measures 66.5 (Dia.) x 21.0 (H) mm and can be controlled via an RS-485 interface. It is ideal for demanding navigation, automation, and precision agriculture applications.
