The TW7976 from Tallysman is a Triple-Band GNSS Antenna with support for L-Band correction services. It supports GPS/QZSS-L1/L2, QZSS-L6, GLONASS-G1/G2, Galileo-E1/E6, and BeiDou-B1/B3 constellations. The antenna also supports L6 and E6 bands, Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS), and QZSS Centimeter Level Augmentation Service (CLAS) correction signals. Regional augmentation services such as WAAS (North America), EGNOS (Europe), MSAS (Japan), GAGAN (India), and high-precision L-band correction services are also supported by this surface mount antenna module.
This antenna features a dual-feed circular stacked patch element. The signals from the two orthogonal feeds are summed in quadrature, pre-filtered in a low loss filter to protect against a wide range of potentially interfering signals, amplified in high linearity wideband LNA, then band-split, tightly filtered, and amplified before recombining the signal at the output. It is ideal for Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) and Precise Point Positioning (PPP) applications.
The antenna provides out-of-band rejection of over 20 dB and has a 15 kV air discharge ESD circuit protection. This antenna requires a DC supply from 2.5 to 16 V and consumes 24 mA of current. It is available in an IP67-rated weatherproof enclosure that measures 69 (Dia.) x 22 (H) mm and supports direct screw, magnet or adhesive mounting. This antenna is ideal for autonomous vehicle tracking and guidance, Positive Train Control (PTC), Positive Train Location (PTL), precision GNSS positioning, precision agriculture, triple-frequency RTK & PPP receivers, and law enforcement and public safety applications.
