The GNS7040 from GNS Electronics is a GNSS Module that supports GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, and BeiDou constellations. This low-power module integrates a complete GNSS receiver enabling RF to NMEA solutions that minimize the load on the host processor. It has a TTFF Cold start of 30 s, and TTFF Hot start of 1 s. This module provides a GNSS tracking sensitivity of -161 dBm and an acquisition sensitivity of -146 dBm. It requires a DC supply from 1.8-3.3 V and consumes 63 mW of power. The module supports the UART interface and has an update rate of up to 1 Hz. It is available in a 36-pin surface-mount package that measures 10 x 9.3 x 2 mm and is ideal for use in in-vehicle navigation equipment, dynamic navigation, portable devices, netbooks, tablet PCs, mobile phones, GPS tracker, security devices, and camera equipment applications.
