The MC-1612-DG from LOCOSYS is a single-band multi-constellation GNSS receiver that supports GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU, QZSS and SBAS. Equipped with an ARM processor, this device also has a flash memory, TCXO, RTC crystal, LNA and SAW filter, and embedded MEMS sensors (6-axis accelerometers gyros), 1-hole pressure (option) Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) sensor, equipped with dead reckoning software.
It uses an extended Kalman filter algorithm that combines GNSS and MEMS sensor data with a weighting function that relies on GNSS signal quality. With adverse GNSS conditions in urban canyons, tunnels, or parking garages where dead reckoning boosts the accuracy, and the software fills the gaps. It supports three dimensional DR, Standard NMEA output, fully supports various map mapping demand.
This 3-in-1 Seamless Positioning GNSS receiver supports GNSS, Automotive dead reckoning (ADR) and Untethered dead reckoning (UDR). It provides real-time positioning accuracy of 1.5m while operating from 3.0V - 4.3V supply. The receiver is available in a package that measures 16 x 12.2 x 2.4 mm and can be used in a wide range of applications that include Autonomous Vehicles, V2X, UAS, Precision Agriculture etc.
