The ST-1612r-DGX from Locosys is a Multi-Constellation GNSS UDR/ADR Module for automotive applications. This GNSS receiver supports GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and QZSS and features inertial sensors (3-axis accelerometers and 3-axis gyros) to provide dead reckoning. It can automatically operate in ADR or UDR mode if there is an odometer connection or vehicle speed input. Both raw data of the inertial sensors and vehicle’s altitude including pitch, roll and heading angles can be output for driver behavior analysis. With these features, the ST-1612r-DGx can reduce positioning errors in multipath environments and continue to work where GNSS signals are poor or not available, such as tunnels and indoor parking lots, as well as deliver seamless navigation.
This GNSS chip is AEC-Q100 qualified and measures 16 x 12.2 x 2.3 mm. It is ideal for automotive navigation, marine navigation, M2M, track patrol, and a wide range of other applications.
