The mosaic-X5 from Septentrio is a Multi-Band, Multi-Constellation GNSS Receiver which is specifically designed for the needs of mass-market applications like robotics and autonomous systems. This high-reliability receiver tracks all GNSS constellations and supports all current and future signals. It has a TTFF cold start under 45s, TTFF warm start under 20s, and provides tracking sensitivity of 20 dB-Hz and acquisition sensitivity of 33 dB-Hz. The receiver requires a DC supply from 3-5.5 V and consumes 0.6 W of power. It has an update rate of more than 100 Hz, offers latency of less than 10 ms, and supports UART, Ethernet, USB, GPIO, and CAN interfaces.
The mosaic-X5 features AIM+ for advanced interference monitoring and mitigation, LOCK+ for robust tracking during high vibrations and shocks, APME+ for multipath mitigation to disentangle direct signal and those reflected from nearby structures, and IONO+ for advanced protection against ionospheric disturbances. It is designed for high volume automated assembly lines with a minimal amount of additional components required.
This GNSS Receiver is available in a compact surface-mount package that measures 31 x 31 x 4 mm and is ideal for robotics, automation, logistics & port operations, rail, UAV, and autonomous applications.
