The SL869T3-I from Telit is a multi-constellation positioning module that can navigate using GPS L1, IRNSS/NavIC L5 and the GAGAN L1 SBAS systems concurrently. It is designed to support the Indian NavIC (formerly IRNSS) constellation L5 signal simultaneously with GPS L1 and SBAS. This module complies with Automotive Industry Standard 140 (AIS-140), an Indian government mandate that requires the use of NavIC for vehicle location tracking devices in all public transportation vehicles, effective April 2019.
The module is provided with single RF input for L1 and L5 bands and multiple communication ports using UART and I2C interface. The embedded flash memory allows onboard AGPS storage, FW upgrades and customization. It is available in a 16 x 12.2 mm LLC package.
