The UBX-M8030 from u-blox is a range of standalone positioning chips which allow for concurrent reception of GPS/QZSS, GLONASS, BeiDou satellite signals. They are based on the high performance u-blox M8 position engine that delivers exceptional sensitivity and acquisition times. The series have a navigation sensitivity of -167 dBm and can receive signals from two constellations simultaneously allowing for extraordinary positioning accuracy in urban canyons, even with weak signals. These chips are available in miniature WL-CSP and QFN packages with a footprint of only 30 mm2. They are an ideal for automotive applications and portable consumer applications which have size and cost constraints.
