The 50PA-912 from JFW Industries is an 8 X 8 Cellular Handover Test System that operates from 2 to 6 GHz. It is constructed with power divider/combiners on both halves of the matrix with programmable attenuators in between. The test system consists of 64 solid-state step attenuators, each RF path having its own attenuator, providing an attenuation range from 0 - 95 dB in 1 dB steps. It has a typical switching speed of 4 microseconds. The system can be controlled manually from a keypad or remotely via Ethernet / RS-232 connection. This type of sytems allows every input signal to be available simultaneously to every output port at differently attenuated signal levels.
The 50PA-912 can handle an average input power of up to 30 dBm and has an insertion loss of less than 37 dB. It has a VSWR of less than 1.6:1 and provides an isolation of more than 53 dB.
JFW's Handover Test Systems are specifically designed for providing wireless device performance at the network level. It is available in a rack-mountable enclosure that measures 19.0 x 15.7 inches with SMA-Female connectors.
The test system requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V.
