The MXO-PLD from Wenzel Associates is an Integrated Crystal Oscillator that operates from 200 MHz to 12 GHz. It is a phase-locked oscillator with integrated single/multiple low-noise multiplier stages to generate stable signals within its operating frequency range. The oscillator has a PLL bandwidth of less than 10 Hz and a standard 10 MHz external reference with 7 (±6) dBm strength. The frequency dividers pre-scale its internal VHF oscillator and the external reference frequencies to phase-lock at a common lower frequency.

The MXO-PLD requires a DC supply of 15 V and has a typical warm-up time of less than 5 minutes. It is available in a Nickel-plated, machined Aluminum enclosure that measures 4.00 x 4.40 x 1.00 inches and has SMA-female connectors, solder pins, and threaded inserts. This crystal oscillator is ideal as a reference source and is suitable for radar systems, test equipment, instruments, and military applications.

The oscillator is available with other options for the base VHF oscillator frequency and multiple outputs.
