The ACLNBW-Ka-Ex-V2 Series from ACORDE are Low Noise Blocks that convert input frequencies (RF) from 17.7-22.2 GHz to output frequencies (IF) from 1000 to 2000 MHz. They have been designed for challenging Ka-band professional and military satellite communication systems (ground, SOTP, SOTM, maritime etc.). These LNBs provide a gain of more than 60 dB with 40 dB image rejection and have a noise figure of less than 1.8 dB. They have spurious levels of less than -60 dB and a phase noise of -75 dBc/Hz (at 1 kHz offset).
These low-noise blocks utilize the latest technology to obtain the best performance according to MIL-STD-188-164C military standards and offer a high-reliability solution for harsh environmental conditions. They are fully tested in an environmental chamber and delivered with a complete factory acceptance test report. These LNBs require a DC supply of 13-18 V and consume 320 mA of current. They are available in modules that measure 120 x 60 x 40 mm with WR-42 grooved-waveguide input interface and N-type (female) output connectors.
