The ALS5X from Actox is a C-Band Low Noise Block that downconverts an input frequency of 3.4 to 4.2 GHz to an output frequency of 950 to 1750 MHz. It provides a conversion gain of 62 dB and has an output P1dB of more than +5 dBm. This LNB has a local oscillator frequency of 5.15 GHz and the option of an external reference. It has a stabilization and start-up time of less than 1 minute and a VSWR of less than 2.5:1 (input/output).
This LNB has an image rejection of more than -40 dBc, an in-band spurious of less than -55 dBm, and an LO leakage of less than -50 dBm (input) & -40 dBm (output). It requires a DC supply of +12 / -24 V and consumes less than 300 mA of current.
This LNB is available in a compact module that measures 93.3 x 99.6 x 71.5 and has an F-type female connector for the IF port and a WR-229 Grooved waveguide interface at the RF port. It is ideal for C-Band VSAT remote RF terminal applications.
