The 1000XDF from Norsat International is a Ku-Band Low Noise Block that down-converts input RF frequencies from 10.70 – 11.70 GHz (Band 1)/11.70 – 12.75 GHz (Band 2) to 950 – 1950 MHz (Band1)/1100-2150 MHz (Band 2). It provides a conversion gain of 60 dB and has a noise figure of less than 1 dB. This dual-band LNB is phase-locked to an external reference frequency of 10 MHz for LO stability. It requires a DC supply voltage of 13 V for Band 1, and 18 V for Band 2 while drawing 350 mA of current. This 50/75-ohms LNB is available in a module that measures 128 x 60 x 40 mm with waterproof N or F-type connectors at the input and a WR-75 flange, grooved interface at the output.
