This Block Down Converter assembly from Specialty Microwave down converts a Ka-band signal from 17.7 - 19.7 GHz to 950 - 2150 MHz. The BDC assembly allows the user to communicate via an Ethernet optical interface to the Antenna Control Unit (ACU). It has integrated LNAs and an NTP server with GPS antenna that can communicate with the Antenna Control Unit. This BDC can be used to test Satellite Access Point (SAP) antennas located across the globe.
