The AM3228 from Atlanta Micro is a Passive Lowpass Filter (LPF) with a passband from DC to 18 GHz. It has a passband insertion loss of 0.4 dB and provides an out-of-band rejection of more than 39 dB. This filter is implemented on a chip that offers low loss and high rejection and has a compact PCB footprint. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3 x 3 mm, is fully matched to 50 ohms and excels in 18 GHz direct digitization applications. This LPF has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +100°C.
