The PCW-400i from BlinQ Networks is an Integrated Enterprise 5G Small Cell and Wi-Fi 7 Access Point (AP). It operates in the n48, n77 and n78 bands for 5G connectivity and 2.4/5/6 GHz bands for Wi-Fi connectivity. This access point can support up to 128 users simultaneously and has an integrated antenna to provide 360° coverage and eliminate dead zones in the network. It can operate as a dual-band, dual-cell fully integrated gNodeB and supports simultaneous 5G and Wi-Fi connectivity enabling frequency redundancy and interference mitigation. The access point supports carrier aggregation of up to 4 CC and supports 2T2R (Wi-Fi) and 4T4R (5G MIMO) configurations. It supports 5G channel bandwidths of 10, 20, 40, 80 and 100 MHz and Wi-Fi channel bandwidth of up to 320 MHz.
The PCW-400i delivers an aggregate throughput of 6 Gbps (Wi-Fi) and 2 Gbps (5G-NR). It simplifies deployment by using the EasyLiNQ onboarding app that provides step-by-step instructions for proper installation and placement of one or multiple PCW-400i without the need for complex RF planning exercises and expensive professional installation assistance. This access point is managed by BLiNQ’s NetLiNQ EMS and SON suite and can interface with any third-party SMO (Service Management and Orchestration) based on standard O1 (O-RAN) management interfaces. For CBRS band networks, this access point implements both n48 connectivity options - a standalone CBSD agent, as well as connectivity to a SAS PROXY embedded in the NetLiNQ SON software.
The PCW-400i is available in an IP56-rated enclosure that measures 275 x 275 x 90 mm with 2.5G Ethernet with PoE and 10G SFP+ interfaces. It requires a DC supply of 12 V via power-over-ethernet and consumes 60 W of power.
