The ePMP 4600 from Cambium Networks is a Fixed Wireless Access Point that operates from 5.925 to 7.125 GHz. It is based on 802.11ax technology and features 4x4 MU-MIMO and dual overlapping sectors to effectively double the capacity of 2x2 systems and increase link budgets by 3 dB with downlink beamsteering. This scalable access point combines 160 MHz channels, 4096QAM, and OFDMA to deliver up to 4 Gbps total aggregate capacity to up to 120 subscribers. It features a sophisticated scheduling and QoS engine combined with TDD synchronization to deliver consistently high-quality service to a large number of end users.
The ePMP 4600 can be deployed with the 90° 4x4 MU-MIMO sector available from Cambium Networks. It uses cnMaestro™ for cloud or on-premises network management and LINKPlanner for the planning of networks. This access point includes an Ethernet interface with support for Power-over-Ethernet (56 V, 30 W). It is available in an IP67-rated enclosure that measures 256 x 137 x 56 mm with 50-ohm coaxial connectors and is suitable for fixed wireless broadband applications.
